In today’s world, many individuals feel unsafe regardless of their location. This essay will explore the possible causes of this phenomenon and propose some potential solutions.

Several factors contribute to people feeling insecure. Firstly, the media plays a role in instilling fear by extensively covering high crime rates. News programs often sensationalize crimes to attract a larger audience, bombarding viewers with violent images and stories of terror in public places. Consequently, individuals who are constantly exposed to such content are more likely to perceive their surroundings as dangerous. In contrast, those who are less aware of such incidents may not experience the same level of anxiety. Secondly, the increasing frequency of natural disasters due to global warming adds to people’s insecurities, even within their homes.
